Full Mouth Restoration: A Fresh Start

Full mouth restoration is less a single treatment and more a process. As the name implies: the coordinated intervention of multiple specialties across the entire mouth, both upper and lower jaws, to rebuild function and aesthetics. A typical full mouth restoration case spans implantology, periodontology, prosthodontics, and sometimes orthodontics.

Who needs this treatment? People who have lost, or are on the verge of losing, multiple teeth due to prolonged neglect. Those with bite problems causing joint pain (TMJ disorder). Patients whose teeth have been worn down by severe bruxism. People carrying both aesthetic and functional concerns. "I can't eat properly and I'm embarrassed" is a description we hear often.

The first step in Mosdent's full mouth restoration process is comprehensive diagnosis: panoramic and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), joint analysis, bite registration and digital smile design. This data is converted into a treatment plan reviewed jointly by every specialty involved. No clinical step is taken until the guest has approved the plan.

The treatment timeline varies according to the complexity of the case: implant phases may require three to six months for bone healing. But throughout most of this period, the guest continues daily life with a temporary yet fully functional smile. For the majority of our guests travelling from outside Turkey, two principal visits are sufficient: the first for surgery and temporary restoration, the second for permanent delivery.
