Full Mouth Restoration

It is planned for guests with multiple missing teeth, advanced wear or comprehensive aesthetic concerns. The boundaries of suitability are defined in consensus reports: full-arch implant solutions are indicated in an atrophic maxilla or mandible, at Cawood & Howell bone classes IV-V-VI, in patients of ASA I or II general health, and immediate loading requires an implant insertion torque above 35 Ncm (PubMed 28512551). Where you sit against those thresholds cannot be known without an examination and a CT scan, which is why the decision is made at the first consultation.

The initial visit lasts ten to fourteen days, during which all surgical procedures and temporary restorations are completed. A second visit of three to four days is scheduled three months later for the permanent prostheses.

Three: local anaesthesia, conscious sedation and general anaesthesia. The latter two are not separate methods but two steps on one continuum; what separates them is whether the guest still responds purposefully to a verbal command and whether the airway needs intervention (American Society of Anesthesiologists definition). Because surgical sessions in a full-mouth plan run long, sedation or general anaesthesia is usually recommended; the choice is made after the medical history and health assessment.
